“Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

Navigating life’s challenges can be daunting, changing personal circumstances often impact relationships, jobs, finances, health and more. It is natural to feel overwhelmed, anxious or even stuck at times. That is where counselling can make a significant difference. By examining your situation, thoughts, emotions, and behaviours,
you can gain a clearer perspective and find ways to cope more
effectively. A supportive therapeutic relationship can be incredibly
powerful.
Speaking your truth, being heard, and identifying what you need is not easy but as your therapist, I am here to listen and support you. Together, we can work towards making the changes that will help you move forward to a more satisfying and joyful life.
About Linda
Three decades ago, during a particularly challenging time in my life, I sought personal
counselling. This experience set me on a transformative path, encouraging me to question my
perspectives, beliefs, and thoughts, and supporting me in making significant changes. Fifteen
years later, faced with new challenges, I decided to embrace counselling fully. I immersed
myself in counselling training, initially for personal development, and found it so rewarding that I changed careers and have now been a qualified counsellor for over 12 years.
My integrative approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. These diverse techniques allow me to tailor our sessions to
meet your unique needs.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP), a member of the Mindfulness Association in Scotland and a member of the Compassionate Mind Foundation. With over a decade of experience, I have worked with depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, menopause, anger, OCD, trauma, panic and insomnia etc
Here are my qualifications:
